At Your Chester GP, we understand that choosing the right healthcare provider is an important decision. To help you feel confident and informed, we've answered some of the most common questions our patients ask. Who can become a member of Your Chester GP?

Our services are open to adults aged 18 and over. Unfortunately, we do not offer care for children or young people under 18.

What does my membership include?

Membership includes a comprehensive health review when you join, plus unlimited GP appointments throughout the year – available 7 days a week. You’ll also receive access to telephone, video or in-person consultations, sick notes, referral letters, and paper prescriptions. Are additional services like physiotherapy or dietician support included?

No – these services are available on-site but are charged separately from your GP membership. However, members benefit from convenient access and referral to our in-house physiotherapy, dietetic and weight management specialists.

Can I still use the NHS if I join?

Yes you can. We actually recommend that you still stay registered with your existing NHS GP to ensure you still receive any recalls or national screening programs  and are contacted for vaccinations.

How do I make an appointment?

Once you become a member, you’ll be able to book appointments online, by phone or in person. Appointments are available Monday to Sunday, including early mornings and late evenings by prior arrangement.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

Yes – same-day appointments are available depending on clinical urgency and availability. We aim to offer maximum flexibility to support your health needs.

Is my personal information secure?

Absolutely. We take patient confidentiality and data protection seriously. All information is stored securely and handled in compliance with GDPR and NHS data governance standards.

What happens during my first appointment?

Your first appointment is a 1-hour comprehensive health review with our GP Clinical Director. It includes a full medical history, physical exam, baseline tests and personalised health planning.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. Membership can be paid annually in full or by monthly direct debit, following an initial deposit. Full pricing will be available soon.

Do you offer corporate packages?

Yes. We offer tailored corporate memberships to businesses looking to provide healthcare support for employees. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Does my GP membership include access to Your Chester Spa?

Your GP membership includes a complimentary 1-hour spa introduction experience for new members, allowing you to explore the facilities and enjoy a taster of our wellness offering. Ongoing access to spa treatments, hydrotherapy and experiences at Your Chester Spa is charged separately and can be booked directly with the spa team.
